Over 20 Attend Comprehensive Plan Meeting

Approximately 20 people attended a meeting last night to discuss the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Madison. Planning for future sidewalks, economic development, population trends, and flood issues were all brought up during the meeting. City Engineer Chad Comes says this plan will be used to guide the city for years to come.

Comes says another meeting similar to this one held in the future.

Comes says last night’s meeting was well balanced, with focus being spread out to a number of issues.

Once the Comprehensive Plan is complete, it will be formally adopted and applied to activities in the city of Madison.
