Tree Fire Extinguished by Madison Fire Crews

Sparks from a vent pipe of an oil heater are believed to have been the cause of a fire that erupted at 5:40PM on Monday night. A tree in the backyard of 1100 Northeast 3rd street caught fire to one of its tree limbs. The rotten and hollowed out limb was cut off and extinguished by the Madison Fire Department.
