Madison Commissioners to Consider Acknowledging Off-Sale License Transfer

The Madison City Commissioners will meet this evening to acknowledge the off-sale license transfer application from Maurice Hofer to Drew and Carol Skinner for Skinners Package Liquor at 402 Northeast 2nd Street.

The commission will also hear the second reading of 4 ordinances to amend electric rates, water rates, amend the speed limit on northeast 15th street and north 2nd street.

The amendments made to the street ordinances will include raising the speed limit on Northeast 15th Street to 40 miles an hour and to also raise the speed on 2nd Street and 3rd Street north from the intersection of Washington Avenue and Highway 34 to Prairie Avenue from 20 to 30 miles per hour.

The Madison City Commission will meet beginning at 5:30PM this evening at Madison City Hall.
