Lake County Extension Board Seeking Youth Leaders

The Lake County Extension Board is looking for youth leaders. Its all a part of a program which will create a partnership between adults and kids. The partnership will provide guidance and direction to the development, delivery, and evaluation of extension programs and service for the people of Lake County.

To qualify, youth are asked to write an essay answering questions about challenges facing youth today, and what programs would help to be able to meet those challenges.

The youth selected will fulfill a 2 year term beginning in January. The Lake County Extension Board says this will enhance leadership and communication skills for youth, help them to gain respect, and expand career growth and potential as well as to become a role model.
