Car-Deer Strikes Up in Lake Co.

The number of car-deer accidents in Lake County has increased since the beginning of fall and the harvest season. Brandon Gust says there are some things to keep in mind to try and avoid hitting a deer.

Gust also says it will only get worse with hunting season upon us in east river.

In Lake County alone, there were 19 car deer accidents from November 1st to November 15th, 2007. For the entire month of November 2006, 30 car-deer hits were reported.
