The Lake County Board of Commissioners met in regular session Tuesday morning. Richard Bothwell and Mark Peltier presented information to the board regarding vacation homes that they wished to build out near the lakes in Madison on the property commonly known as the old driving range. . The vacation homes would be lived in from April to October and cost between 70 and $100,000. A community center would be built in the vacation home community with a storm shelter in it for severe weather situations. The homes would be log sided and would have 3 floor plans that potential buyers could choose from. The homes would be moved into the location rather than built on site.
The Lake County Board of Commissioners approved the variance for the Park Home Development for BPS, LLC.
