Holiday Travel Safety

With the holiday’s upon us, many will be hitting the roads on the way to visit family and friends. South Dakota Highway Patrol Officer Tim Boomsma says keeping kids entertained in the back seat can make the trip go a lot more smoothly.

He says equally as important is making sure your vehicle can withstand the added miles during the holiday season.

Triple “A” expects over $95,000 South Dakotans to travel at least 50 miles from home during the holiday weekend.
