City sets hearing for sidewalk projects

The Madison City Commission approved three proposals on Monday that will require sidewalk installation in several Madison neighborhoods next year.
The city commissioners will vote on final approval of the sidewalk proposals in two weeks.
The three neighborhoods chosen for sidewalk construction and improvements are Lincoln Ave. between N.E. 5th and N.E. 11th streets, N.E. 2nd St. between Washington and Harth avenues, and Washington Ave. between S. 8th and S. 9th streets.
The commissioners scheduled a hearing on the sidewalk resolutions at 5:35 p.m. on Nov. 29.
