Slow Down, Buckle Up

With winter weather outside already, combined with frozen rain from yesterday evening, it is a slippery one out there today. Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy Tim Walburg says slow down, and take your time.

Walburg says if you do go off the road, a cell phone can be a helpful tool, but he also says not to forget that winter survival kit.

Walburg says slowing down is the most important part of winter driving, he also says you need to scrape your windshield completely, having obstructions on your windshields or side windows is a violation, and you will get ticketed.
