Around 19 plungers and a couple hundred spectators gathered outside at the Community Center last Saturday to witness Madison's 1st Polar Plunge.
The event can be considered a great success. Participants had a great time freezing their tails off and around $10,000 was raised for the Special Olympics. The Reverand Ryan Mutzenberger raised the most money and team Classic Corner won for best costume, dressing up as the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf.
