49th Annual Prairie Village Steam Threshing Jamboree

The 49th Annual Prairie Village Steam Threshing Jamboree kicks off this Friday, August 26th and runs thru Sunday, August 28th.

With weekend temperatures forecasted to be in the mid-70s to low-80s, this year's Jamboree attendees will have great weather to get out and enjoy the event. It's perfect for the whole family with parades, flea market, steam and horse threshing, machinery demonstrations, tractor pulls, train and carousel rides, free musical entertainment, exhibits, and great food.

Located just west of Madison, Prairie Village sits on 120 acres and has over 40 buildings including the Lawrence Welk Opera House, sod and log houses, a country school, churches, and the "Emmanuel", one of the last remaining chapel railroad cars.
