Dakota State University to Seek New President

Dakota State University will be looking for a new president as Dr. Doug Knowlton has given notice of resignation effective in February 2012.

Knowlton has accepted a position as the Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs for the Minnesota State Colleges and University System. In his new position, Knowlton will oversee academic issues for 31 institutions including 24 two-year colleges and seven state universities.

Knowlton has been at Dakota State University for eight years.
