Madison Man Uninjured in Accident on I-29

Mark Misar of Madison was northbound on Interstate 29 Friday morning when a southbound vehicle crossed the median into the northbound lanes and collided with his 2001 Chevrolet Lumina. Misar was reportedly uninjured in the accident.

The accident happened about a mile north of the Baltic exit. The driver of the other vehicle, a 2000 Honda Civic, was 43-year-old David Michael Zerfas of Brookings. Zerfas died in the accident.

Both men were wearing seatbelts.
