Fatal Accident Just Outside of Madison

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a rural Parker man has died as a result of a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Highway-34 and 457th Avenue.

Just after noon on Thursday, a vehicle, driven by 54-year-old Brian Dean Lowe of Madison, was southbound on 457th Avenue and proceeded into the intersection where 50-year-old Jeffrey Keith Tanksley was driving east on Highway-34.

The vehicles collided and Tanksley was ejected from his Chevy Suburban and died at the scene.

Lowe was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.
