Donation Pledged to Fitness Center in Memory of Tana Thompson

At last night's meeting, the Madison Central School Board announced that the family and a dear friend of the late Tana Nicole Thompson, a 1997 MHS graduate who was killed in an automobile accident in April 2001, has pledged $12,500 toward the fitness center that will be part of the new Madison High School gymnasium.

Donors include Dale and Glenda Thompson, Marty and Jennie Thompson, Chris and Dodi (Thompson) Matti, and Christopher Olson.

The donors noted this is a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity to be directly involved in part of the district's history.
