Madison City Commission Agrees on Airport Road Speed Limit

The Madison City Commissioners met in regular session last evening. The commission agreed to adjust the speed limit on the Airport Road from the south end of the cemetery north to 15th street. An ordinance will be drawn up and will come through the commission at a later date for final approval. The commissioners also decided to allow Tom Heirigs to place apartments in the old Washington school. Heirigs will be responsible for removal of curb and gutter, snow removal and on-street parking for the apartment complex. Also approved was an appeal to the board of adjustment to allow TW Services to sell used cars on their property at 1720 Northeast 3rd street.
The Madison City Commissioners will meet next on December 27th at 5:30PM.
