Lake County Commissioners Approve Land Plats

The Lake County Board of Commissioners met this morning at the Lake County Courthouse in Madison.

The Commissioners approved plats for Engebretson’s 1st Addition, Molstad’s Addition, Reiff’s Addition, and Heinemeyer’s 4th Addition.

The board also approved and agreement with the Department fo Veteran’s Affairs for the Disabled American Veteran’s vehicle, the agreement states that if the vehicle is stored inside a shed, and if the shed were to collapse or any other kind of damage would occur the VA would not be liable. According to Lake County Veteran’s services website, the DAV Van is the only way many veterans are able get to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities for needed treatment. The board carried unanimously to approve the agreement with the VA.

The Lake County Board of Commissioners will meet next on December 28th, and then again on January 2nd of next year.
