Training Opportunity - Welding, Machine Operating, Electronics and CDL Certification

First District Association of Local Governments (which LAIC is a member of), worked with economic development leaders in Madison, Brookings, Milbank and Watertown, along with the SD Dept of Labor and Lake Area Technical Institute, and received a community development block grant to address workforce development needs.

Training will be provided, at no expense, in Watertown for welding, machine operating, electronics and jobs requiring commercial driver’s license (CDL) certification. Registration forms can be picked up at the Dept. of Labor office.
