Community Service Effort Spruces Up Downtown

Employees from Bulldog Media Group, Inc. took to the streets of downtown on Tuesday morning in an effort to enhance its appearance.

Madison's main street, Egan Avenue, is lined with 24 light poles featuring beautiful flowering hanging baskets. Employees noticed they could use a fresh coat of stain to enhance their look and contacted the city to volunteer. So shortly after the work day began on Tuesday, so did their efforts. Staff moved quickly and were able to also stain the wood stop sign poles and electrical boxes on main street.

The timing of the project was ideal with the upcoming Crazy Days bringing people to downtown Madison.
