According to Wells Fargo Community Banking President Ed Fiegen, after the bomb threat was made the Madison Police Department was contacted. Twenty-five year old Mark R. Walker apparently told a teller at the bank that a box he was carrying contained a bomb, Walker then left the bank and began walking towards the Madison Post Office, Rick Alfson, acting Postmaster says police suspected he was going to attempt to mail the bomb and contacted the Post Office. At that time, the package was located within the Post Office and isolated. Alfson says the Sioux Falls Police, The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Department of Criminal Investigation were called to bring their x-ray machine so the box could be examined further. According to Alfson, the box was found to have Playstation games inside and not a bomb.
