Fundraiser for Benjamin McGuire Set for Saturday @ Westside Park

Benjamin McGuire has come a long way after receiving third-degree burns 19 months ago. Therapy in Madison and skin grafts in Minnesota continue to aid in the healing process.

To assist the McGuire family financially, organizers are scheduling a Christian music concert from 12:30-4:00PM on Saturday in Madison's Westside Park(Swimming Pool Park). The fund-raising includes a pork loin meal with chips and desserts. This event has been arranged by members of St. Jacob Lutheran Church, rural Colton.

The performers for the concert include the Hallelujah Hooligans, a Christian group that performs traditional gospel and contemporary Christian music, and locals Richard Wolf and Craig Gulbranson.

So come to the Madison swimming pool park for some good food and live music from 12:30 to 4:00PM to show your support for this little boy and his family.
