Creel Survey Fishing Report

The numbers are in from an annual summer survey of fishing tendencies on area lakes. The Creel Survey uses information gathered from anglers, and from the fish they catch, to judge fishing pressure and harvest numbers for are lakes.

The numbers from Lake Bryant and Lake Madison seem to show those lakes holding steady, thats according to Game Fish and Parks Officer Brandon Gust.

Herman however appeared to be a different story, with overall numbers showing less fish biting, and less fisherman trying.

Gust says that, while Lake Herman may have some work ahead of it, fishing overall looks good for the near future.

And a reminder 2007 hunting and fishing licenses are good only for a while longer, they expire at the of January 2008.
