Crash Kills Harrisburg Man

MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) - A Christmas Day accident east of Alexandria on Interstate 90 killed a Harrisburg man.

The Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Jesse Thompson was trying to pass another vehicle when his vehicle slid sideways into the ditch and rolled. He died at the scene.

His wife, 28-year-old Carrie Thompson suffered minor injuries. The couple's 10-month-old baby was not injured.

A trooper says I-90 was snow-packed and slippery when the accident happened.
