VFW Club to Host Memorial Day Program

Traditionally, the Madison Memorial Day program has been held at the Madison High School each Memorial Day.

This year's program will be held at the VFW on Monday at 10 a.m. due to the current construction at the Madison High School. There will be a flag ceremony following the program at the courthouse.

This year's featured speaker is Richard Stearns who retired from the U.S. Army, graduated from Dakota State and became a Veterans Service Officer.

His service time included serving in Korea, England, Alaska, Germany and two years in Vietnam.

Everyone is invited to attend to the program.
