Credit Card Literacy

The South Dakota Treasurers Office is again offering a free credit card literacy program for high school teachers.

The program is offered through a partnership with the Center for Student Credit Card Education. Deputy State Treasurer Mike Mehlhaff says easy credit is not always explained well to young people.

Mehlhaff says their program can fit in well with the personal finance courses now required in high schools.
