DSU Receives $5 Million Pledge

On Monday, November 25th, Dakota State University (DSU) announced a $5 million pledge from T. Denny Sanford and DSU alum Miles Beacom. The donation is the largest gift DSU has received and will be used to create the Beacom Institute of Technology thru the renovation of the current Madison Community Hospital.
The current facility sits adjacent to the DSU campus and will be vacated when the new Madison Community Hospital is completed on the south edge of Madison.
Beacom graduated from Dakota State College (DSC) in 1981 witha Bachelor of Science degree in business with a minor in economics. He current serves as the President and CEO of PREMIER Bankcard.
Sanford is the owner and founder of First PREMIER Bank.
