Seal Coating to Begin on Monday July 28, 2014

SEAL COATING STREETS WILL START MONDAY JULY 28, 2014
The City of Madison and the Lake County Highway Department will begin seal coating various city streets on Monday July 28th starting at 7:00a.m., weather permitting. Seal coating will take approximately 5 days to complete.
Sealcoating will begin in no particular order. City officials are asking residents to watch for the road crews and make sure vehicles have been moved. If a vehicle is parked on any street that crews are ready to seal coat, the vehicle will be towed to another location.
Residents living on the following streets are asked not to park on them until seal coating has been completed:
- NW 1st from Olive Ave. to Egan Ave.
- SW 1st from Highland Ave. to Egan Ave.
- SW 2nd from West Ave. to Egan Ave.
- Olive Ave. from SW 1st St. to NW 2nd St.
- West Ave. from SW 2nd St. to NW 2nd St.
- Chicago Ave. from SW 2nd St. to NW 2nd St.
- Liberty Ave. from SW 2nd St. to NW 2nd St.
- Union Ave. from SW 4th St. to NW 2nd St.
- Josephine Ave. from SW 2nd St. to NW 2nd St.
- Blanche Ave. from SW 2nd St. to NW 2nd St.
- VanEps Ave. from SW 2nd St. to NW 2nd St.
- VanEps Ave. from SW 4th St. to SW 3rd St.
- SW 3rd St. from VanEps Ave. to Egan Ave.
