Lake Madison Theft

The Lake County Sheriff's Office is investigating the report of 2 burglaries that were reported to last week. Sometime between Wednesday night, January 9, and Thursday January 10 somebody entered 2 garages and stole various items. Taken from one house was a rifle, and shotgun.

Taken from the other residence was a Black Ipod in a smoke black-colored case with a Griffen Smart deck cassette adapter. Both of the burglaries happened in the housing development near Ricky Roy's Steakhouse.

A $1,000 reward is being offered by the Lakes Association for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved with the burglaries. Anybody with information is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office, at 256-7615.

The Lakes Association serves the homeowners on Lakes Madison, Brandt, Round Lake, and the golf course.
