Madison Commissioners will send Letter to Legislators

The Madison City Commission will meet in regular session this afternoon at Madison City Hall. Commissioners will review a request from Mike McGowan, who is looking to construct a building with 12 foot high side walls. McGowan appeared before the board last week requesting permission to build a structure with metal siding. That request was denied.

Commissioners are also expected to approve a letter to District 8 legislators Dan Sutton, Dave Gassman, and Russ Olsen, in opposition to Senate Bill 151. That bill would revise some provisions, concerning the purchase price, of electrical facilities in areas annexed by municipalities.

The Commission will also review the specs on a new vehicle for the Public Works Department.

The Madison City Commission meets at 5:30pm.
