Sheriff's Office Asking for Your Help

The Lake County Sheriff's Office is investigating 2 break-ins that were reported last week. The reports came in Monday January 14th. They incidents occurred on Lake Madison, in the Wentworth Park Development. Nothing was taken in either incident.

The break-ins come on the heals of reports from the previous week. Sometime between Wednesday night, January 9, and Thursday January 10 somebody entered 2 garages and stole various items. Both of those burglaries happened in the housing development near Ricky Roy's Steakhouse.

A $1,000 reward is being offered by the Lakes Association for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved with the burglaries. Anybody with information is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office, at 256-7615.

The Lakes Association serves the homeowners on Lakes Madison, Brandt, Round Lake, and the golf course.
