Election Petitions Available

Today is the first day for Madison residents to circulate petitions for elected positions in the April 8th city election. The three year terms of Finance and Revenue Commissioner Jerry Johnson, and Public Works Commissioner Mechelle Nordberg will be up for election.

Three Madison Central School Board seats will be filled as well during that April 8th election. The terms of members Rod Goeman, David Zolnowsky and Gwen Thomson will be up for election.

Petitions for school board seats can be picked up at the business office at the High School, and must be returned by February 29th at 5pm.

City Commission petitions can be picked up at the city finance office today and, like the the school district, must be returned to the city finance office by February 29th.
