Miner County Farm and Home Show Today
Posted on Wednesday, February 6, 2008
The Miner County Farm and Home Show kicks off today. The two-day event serves as a means to gather during the winter months, and to display local talents in exhibit areas and be entertained through programs.
Highlights of this event include commercial booth exhibitors, photography, crafts, food, and crop exhibits.
Programs this year include Cooking Healthy for One or a Few by SDSU Extension Educator Becky Jensen, that program will begin today at 2:00. Tree Care: What to do before Spring Arrives? will be presented by John Ball, SDSU Extension Forestry Specialist, tomorrow at 1:00.
The Miner County Farm and Home Show Committee has adjusted the schedule slightly this year to allow those who wish to attend their church Lenten Services to do so. Wednesday evening activities will conclude at 7:00 p.m. for that reason.
The Miner County Farm and Home Show runs today and tomorrow in the Howard Armory.
