New Candidate for City Commission

Another potential candidate has taken out a petition for the 2008 Madison City Commission election. Kelli Brown has taken out a petitions from the city finance office. If that petition is turned back in by February 29th Brown would join Monica Campbell and Scott Delzer in the April 8th City election. Two Commissioners will be chosen on the 8th.

The three year terms of Finance and Revenue Commissioner Jerry Johnson, and Public Works Commissioner Mechelle Nordberg will be up for election. Johnson and Nordberg are not, as of yet, seeking re-election.

Nick Abraham has also been circulating a petition for City Commission.
