Salem Teen Recovering from Near Drowning

A Salem girl is recovering from what appears to be a near drowning at a Sioux Falls hotel. Police say the 16-year-old was in town for the state wrestling tournament and was staying with family at the Ramkota Inn. Witnesses say she was in the pool last evening and had been going under water and popping up again when someone noticed she couldn't come to the surface on her own. The girl was pulled from the pool and a nurse in the area started CPR. Police say the girl was taken to a hospital and should make a full recovery.
