Public Forum on the Drinking Age to be Held at DSU

Should 18 year olds be allowed to drink legally? That will be the topic of a public forum debate to be held tomorrow at Dakota State University in Madison. The Dakota State University Office of Alcohol and Other Drugs, and the DSU Student Senate is sponsoring the public forum called, 18 vs 21. The forum begins at 7:00pm in the Technology Building Auditorium.

Forum panelists will include Lee Erickson, the North and South Dakota Coordinator for Students Against Drunk Driving; Flandreau attorney Bob Pesall; State Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead; NDSU student Brooke Jameson; and DSU Director of Alcohol and Other Drugs Office Erik Miller. DSU Student Senate President Chase Anderton will serve as moderator.

The forum will be webcast live at 7:00 on Thursday, through DSU E-Education Services at www.dsu.edu.
