Fourth Candidate for County Commission

A fourth person has joined the race for the three Lake County Commission seats open in November. Current Lake County Planning Commissioner Scott Pederson has filed his petition. Pederson joins a County Commission race that already includes former states attorney, and current DSU director of development Chris Giles; current Lake County Commissioner Craig Johannsen; and Madison City Commissioner Dan Bohl.

The three republicans in the race, Pederson, Giles, and Bohl, could be looking at a primary race as well. If a fourth republican joins the race voters would narrow the field in a June 3rd primary.

Petitions for Lake County Commission must be turned in to the Auditors office by the 25th of March.
