School Board Petition Deadline Friday

One candidate is officially in the Madison Central School Board election, two more could be soon. Jay Niedert has filed a petition for one of the two three-year terms. Two other three-year petitions have been taken out, one belonging to former MHS student and teacher Cory Heidelberger.

Three seats on the board will be open for the April 8th ballot. The three-year terms of exiting members Rod Goeman, and David Zolnowsky will be up for election. Also open will be one two year term, the balance of time left on Kelly Johnson's term that Gwen Thompson filled this past year.

Petitions for all three school board openings must be turned in by Friday at 5pm.
