Show Choir and Jazz Band Take Top Honors

The Madison High School Show Choir & Jazz Band performed at the Adrian Jazz & Show Competition last evening. Together, they won the Sweepstakes Award, which is the top award of the evening.

"Madtown," the MHS Show Choir took 1st place in the categories of: Best Show Design, Best Vocals, Best Choreography & Best Show Band.

Nick Jarrett and Caitlin Iverson won Outstanding Vocal Soloist awards. Also Jennifer Adams won for Outstanding jazz band Piano Soloist, and Jeremy Rud for Outstanding jazz band Trumpet Soloist.

The Show Choir competes again Friday at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
