Part of I-90 will Close Thursday

Motorists traveling near Brandon on I-90 may need to find an different route tomorrow. On Thursday beginning at 9 a.m., Interstate 90 will be closed between Exit 402 and Exit 406. Both eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed for approximately 20 minutes.

The closure will allow Xcel Energy to place a new power line across Interstate 90. During the closure period, the SD Highway Patrol will control and direct traffic.

Exit 406 is the Brandon exit, the interstate will be closed from that exit and four miles west.
