Pool Bids to be Accepted

The Madison City Commission gave authorization for bids to be advertised for the new Madison Outdoor Aquatic Center construction project. Sealed bids for the new outdoor pool construction project will be opened April 16th at 2:00pm.

The commission also approved a variance for Larry Schwebach of Schwebach Construction to build a 38 foot wide triple garage. Current City Ordinance only allows a 36 foot wide garage. Commissioners Dan Bohl talked of the need for that ordinance to be evaluated.

Also Monday the commission authorized Mayor Hexom to sign a request for National guard Assistance with the cities clean-up week. The clean up project gives residents the chance to have unwanted household items that are not usually accepted , taken away. That clean up will be held the week of May 3rd through the 9th.
