Highway 34 reopens

The South Dakota Highway Patrol reports that Highway 34 east of Madison has been reopened.

The road was the site of a car-bus accident earlier today which killed one person and injured dozens.

Officials closed the section of road near Wentworth and re-routed traffic throughout the day while emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene.
