Moody County Republican Joins District 8 House Race

Another candidate has joined the race for one of the two District 8 house seats. Republican Patricia K. Stricherz has joined fellow Republican Jerry Johnson, and Democrats Gerry Lange and Mitch Fargen. Stricherz lives just north of the Moody and Minnehaha county border, a few miles southeast of Trent.

New candidates can still be added to the list today, even though the deadline to file was Tuesday. Any nominating petitions that were mailed with a Tuesday postmark will be accepted.
