City Will Review Application to Incentive Program

An application to the city's Growth Incentive Program tops the agenda of todays Madison City Commission meeting. Lake Area Improvement Cooperation Executive Director Dwaine Chapel submitted the application for Farmers Ag Center in Madison. The Ag Center is adding five new employees, and is requesting 2-thousand, 3-hundred dollars from the cities Growth Incentive Program. The money would come in the form of hiring dollars.

Also at todays meeting, Commissioners are scheduled to approve the specs on the new Automated Observation System for the airport. They will also set a date for bid-letting for the system.

The Madison City Commission will begin their day at 5:00pm with and executive session, the regular session meeting begins at 5:30.
