Commission Approves AWOS for Airport

The Madison City Commission approved a request for growth incentive funds for Farmers Ag Center LLC at their weekly meeting Monday night. $2,300 in hiring dollars were approved for the center, those funds come from the cities community development fund.

T&R contracting of Sioux Falls was awarded the bid for the southwest 3rd street improvement project, with a bid of $528,503.20

Also Monday the commission approved the specs for a new Automated Weather Observation System, or AWOS. A date for bid-letting was set for 1:30pm April 2nd. The Commissioners also acknowledged a staff report for the Restricted Use Facility, approved an electrical license for Barger Electric.
