Honomichl to Become Districts Director of Technology

The Madison School District's search for a Director of Technology has ended. Madison Central Superintendent Vince Schaefer announced Monday that current computer instructor Rob Honomichl will fill the new position. Honomichl majored in computer education at Dakota State University in Madison, and began teaching at the Madison High School in the fall of 2000.

School board president Mark Hawkes says the school district has discussed organizing technology support services for some time. The new Director of Technology will help the school address quality integration and operation on everything from video security cameras to tablet computers.

Honomichl's new position will begin in July.
