Comprehensive Plan Highlights Commission Meeting
Posted on Monday, April 21, 2008
Anyone who has not a chance to review, or comment on the Madison Comprehensive Plan, should attend today's Madison City Commission meeting. Today will be the last review of that comprehensive plan, a plan that Madison Mayor Gene Hexom says will help guide the future of Madison for years to come.
After today's final review of the plan, Commissioners will likely vote on a resolution that would approve the Comprehensive Plan.
Also at today's meeting the Commission will acknowledge a letter from the South Dakota Department of Environmental and Natural resources, congratulating the Madison Public Water System for meeting the requirements of the Safe Water Act.
The City Commission will begin in an executive session at 5:00pm today to discus pending litigation. The public hearing regarding the comprehensive plan will begin at 5:35.
