Wessington Springs Wind Project Completes Financing

Financing has been completed and construction has begun for the Wessington Springs Wind Project according to Heartland Consumers Power District here in Madison.

The project will consist of 34 new General Electric 1.5 Megawatt Wind Turbines with enough total production capacity to power approximately fifteen thousand homes per year.

Once completed and operational later on this year, the project will be among the top energy producers in the region.
