Minnesota Man Killed in Colman Shooting

A shooting in rural Colman has left a 32-year-old man dead.

Authorities say 32-year-old Jason Clough of Marshall Minnesota fired three times with a shotgun at his estranged wife's home Sunday night in an effort to break in.

Someone in the home returned fire with a rifle, and Clough was killed.

The Moody County sheriff says four people were in the house at the time, including Clough's estranged wife and their small child, the woman's mother and her husband.

The person who fired the fatal shot was not immediately identified, pending further investigation.

Clough's estranged wife had a protection order.
