Bikes and Babes Roll Into Madison

The Streets of Madison will rumble Saturday morning with the sounds of hogs, choppers, and rat bikes. The third annual Bikes and Babes Rally for Miracles will take place in Madison this Saturday, starting at 10 a.m.

This is the third year of the Bikes and Babes rally, but the first time the event is taking place in Madison. Kim Haiar with the Childrens Miracle Network says they decided on Madison this year due to the communities long-standing support of the CMN.

Riders will start in front of the K-J-A-M Studios in Madison, then head north to Sanford Clinic in Brookings. From there, riders will head to Orchard Hills in Dell Rapids and then to Luverne before ending at Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls. Haiar says there are several events planned at the end-of-the-rally party.

Registration takes place from 10-noon at the KJAM Studios. Cost is $25 for riders. For more information, call Peg at the KJAM studios, 256-4514.
