Nebraska Suspect Indicted In Yankton Slaying

The Yankton County States Attorney's office says Shane Michael Tweedy has been indicted on a charge of first degree murder.

Tweedy was charged in connection with the death of 46-year-old Patrick Montgomery of Yankton. His body was found in his home early on the morning of May 22nd. He had been shot and killed.

The 28-year-old Tweedy will make his next court appearance Tuesday June 17th. Tweedy is being held in the Yankton County Jail on a half million dollar bond.
